Elezioni Londra: Livingstone confermato
Mayoral election statement 11-6-2004 IOD The Mayor of London, Ken Livingstone said:’ Here in London we have been delivering the four year record of a progressive administration. We could not have done what we’ve done for extra police and buses without the finance and support from government. The election was fought on the issue of improving public services. The outcome demonstrates that Londoners want to see another four years of more police, better buses and expanded public transport. I am proud that we have got the chance to carry on that work for the next four years, we did not believe that all we sought to do could be done in the first term, nor I suspect will it all be done in the second. I want to thank Anthony Mayer and his staff for their hard work. This election works because hundreds of thousands of people go out to make the democratic process happen.’
